Review by Iza

I love the Sinners. I loved Double Time. I loved Trey, Ethan and Reagan. I actually had a soft spot for Ethan. So of course I was excited to read Outsider, sequel to their love story!

I liked this book, but also didn't. Wait, let me explain, so it will make sense to you. If you've read the previous book, you know what happens. Shit hits the fan, tabloids reveal nasty things about Reagan, Trey and Ethan. Reagan is made out to be the slut that breaks Trey's heart because she's cheating on him with her hot bodyguard, Ethan.

Reagan freaks out. Ethan freaks out. Trey just takes it in stride. And that is why in this one, Trey dethroned Ethan for me. Because the first two kind of made it all about themselves. Okay, so Reagan's dad was a sort of dictator that never approved of what Reagan did. Unfortunately, that shit happens to many. Moving along. Ethan's family doesn't know about his sexual orientation. They'd freak about him being gay, but bi? They'd shun him. I kind of sort of got that one, I mean his brothers used to make fun and beat up other kids. Straight-up bullies.

Trey's parents are awesome. I loved the emphasis on it; I loved seeing the interaction between him and Dare. Dare loved his crazy younger brother, no matter what.

So all the drama was around Reagan and Ethan. Especially Reagan. It was a little bit exaggerated, making her sound so selfish and me-me-me. I didn't much care for her, in this one.

But all's well that ends well and both get their heads out of their asses and ta-da! HEA happens!

So, I'm giving it 3.5 - 4 stars - because the Sinners were also in it, and they always give me the feels - and I want to thank the publishers for the copy given in exchange for my honest review. I'm curious about book three - no, it's not Dare's *sigh*
